What types of interior design projects do you take on?

Revive Home Interiors specializes in full-service interior design for remodels, new construction, and furnishing projects. We are best suited for clients who want professional guidance throughout the design process rather than help with just one or two individual selections.

What does full-service interior design include?

Depending on the project, our services may include space planning, finish and fixture selections, cabinetry and countertop design, lighting, furniture and décor sourcing, custom design details, drawings and elevations, and collaboration with contractors and fabricators. Each proposal clearly outlines exactly what is included for your project.

How much does it cost to work with an interior designer?

Design fees vary based on the size, scope, and complexity of the project. After an initial consultation, we provide a customized proposal outlining your scope of work, design investment, deliverables, and payment schedule so you know what to expect before moving forward.

What is the first step in working with Revive?

Every project begins with an initial consultation. This gives us an opportunity to see your space, understand your goals, discuss your investment range and timeline, and determine whether Revive is the right fit for your project.

How long does the interior design process take?

Every project is different, but thoughtful design takes time. Your proposal will include an estimated design timeline based on the scope of your project. Timelines can also be affected by client decision-making, contractor schedules, product lead times, and the availability of custom materials.

Can you work with my contractor or builder?

Absolutely. We regularly collaborate with general contractors, builders, architects, cabinet companies, fabricators, and other trades. Our role is to communicate the design intent and provide the specifications and documentation needed to help the project come together cohesively.

Do you manage the construction process?

Revive is an interior design firm, not a general contractor. When construction administration is included in your scope, we may provide site visits, design clarification, and coordination related to the approved design. The contractor remains responsible for construction means and methods, scheduling, subcontractors, measurements, code compliance, and execution of the work.

Can I purchase furniture or materials myself?

Purchasing procedures vary depending on the project and will be outlined in your proposal. When Revive is responsible for sourcing and procurement, we coordinate purchasing according to the agreed-upon design and procurement process. Items should not be purchased until they have been formally approved.

How many design revisions are included?

Our goal is to create a thoughtful, cohesive design based on the direction established during the discovery process. Your proposal will specify the number of revisions included in your design fee. Additional revisions, redesigns, or changes requested after approval may require an additional design fee.
